Re: D & C after a missed abortion and I want to conceive soon.

I WAS WONDERING WHY THEY SAY TO WAIT AT LEAST ONE MONTH. BY THE WAY, THE REASON WHY I AM CHANGING DOCTORS IS BECAUSE I FEEL THAT THINGS WERE NOT HANDLED CORRECTLY WHEN THE DOCTOR TOLD ME THE BABY HAD NO HEART BEAT. I WAS SITTING THERE UNDRESSED WITH THE SHEET OVER ME, AND HE TELLS ME I NEED TO HAVE A D & C THAT DAY OR THE NEXT MORNING. I WAS ALONE WITHOUT ANY SUPPORT THERE FOR ME. IT SEEMED LIKE HE WANTED TO DO THE D & C RIGHT AWAY. HE EVEN OFFERED TO CALL MY HUSBAND TO MEET ME AT THE HOSPITAL. I FEEL LIKE HE SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME TO GET DRESSED AND MEET HIM IN HIS OFFICE. THAT IS THE MAIN REASON FOR CHANGING DOCTORS. MY MOTHER IN LAW IS A NURSE AND THIS NEW GYN IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY HER AND MY PRIMARY CARE PROVIDER. THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP, MELISSA
