I am 5 weeks post op from a TVH (uterus only.) I was suffering with fibroids, and in discomfort most of the time. In all my research the hysterectomy seemed to be the plague. I was perfectly ready to have the procedure done. I am blessed with two healthy children. I don't feel less of a woman because of it. In fact I can see my quality of life improving greatly. No more pain, heavy bleeding ect...
