stumped and would really appreciate some guidance! Fever persists

To summarize a case history, here are the following symptoms and treatments to date and blood tests taken. What I am trying to find out is why I continue to run a low grade fever (98.8 morning - 99.8 night) and this is continuous.

First 'noticed' fever in August.Had a sick member of the family and thought I was coming down w/the same. I did eventually and couldn't get rid of it for awhile. Took antibiotics for 14 days (wide spectrum) and then Zythromax for 5 more. Seemed to get better, sinus pain in side of face subsided. Still have lowgrade fever - this is the middle of September.

Within a week - coworker brings in a new bug, I get that too - but doesn't seem to last but a week. The 'well' week before this second bout, I had an appointment w/the doctor and he prescribed allergy medicines to help heal the sinus areas and help me be less susceptible to new 'bugs'. Seemed to work. But, same low grade fever.

Blood tests run in the past 3 months include all the thyroids, the B12 level, lupus, anemia (CVC?), white blood cell count was slightly up.

My question is this. I would imagine it's not a bacterial infection as the antiboitics would have worked. I am not currently sick. I've never run a slightly above temperature either - most of the time it's 98.6 or 98.7 max.

I had a number of antiimmune defiency type blood tests done as well - so, hope it's not pertaining to that. Those were negative.

Any ideas, information, anything to help point me in the right direction as to how to diagnose this would be greatly appreciated. THere is a woman I know who's daughter has something similar.

Any chance it could be from being run down? I don't have any bad habits (bummer ;), and am of average weight and height.

Thanks!!! Elizabeth
