Many women with PCO are able to get pregnant without assistance from fertility drugs or procedures. Some women need additional help. The prognosis for childbearing is good.

I am unaware of chronic pelvic pain as part of the syndrome of polycystic ovarian syndrome. Perhaps you were reading about ovarian cysts and chronic pelvic pain? Certainly there are women with PCO who have pelvic pain, but this connection appears to be coincidental. If you'd like to provide a quote or reference from the material you were reading, I'd be happy to help you sort it out.
