breastfeeding after implantsFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netMon, 27 Sep 1999 17:32:01 EDT
I had silicone breast implants placed about 10 years ago, intending to not have any more children, well here I am pregnant at 38 (this is a good thing). I'm concerned about breastfeeding with my implants, is it safe? I've never had any problems with them. I'm also concerned about my age, am I high risk? I'm very healthy and athletic. At what age are doctors most concerned about defects or problems. I've been pregnant once before, and have a daughter 19 yrs old. Thanks for the info. Maria
