Some of us who get menstrual migraines get relief from "tri-cycling," or taking our birth control pills continuously without taking the placebo pills. Normally, women doing this will take the placebo pills on every third cycle, since going longer may lead to unpredictable and annoying breakthrough bleeding. As noted elsewhere on this forum, the practice is safe. Of course, if the pills are increasing your migraine frequency in the first place, then taking more pills probably won't help. If you're like me, and birth control pills seem to reduce the frequency of your migraines (I get a predictable one per cycle, on day 24 of each pack of pills), then tri-cycling might work.
