Dr. Hill, I just had to comment on this answer. Finally, a doctor is telling us women that YES a prolapse is common after a vaginal delivery. Many younger women have posted recently on various forums that their doctor have told them they are unique because not many younger women have prolapse. I asked my gyn if something was falling and he told me no. This is one reason by the time women get here they are so frustrated. All we want is a straight forward honest answer. Sometimes it's not easy to get a new doctor. Insurance won't allow it or from my experience, the first time office call charges adds up pretty quick. That's why we are looking to you and the other doctors for advise. Thank you.
