Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Pregnancy woes-bleeding, neg. tests" Last month I thought I was pregnant, took a home pregnancy test 4 days after my period should have begun. It was a positive test. I have a 30 day cycle. Then 4 days later, I had bleeding and went to see my doctor. This only lasted 3 days, and was not a normal period. She gave me a blood test and it came up negative, 8 or so HCG. She said I miscarried. This month I am now 9 days after when my period was due, and I have some minor spotting. I talked to a friend who said she had 2 negative blood tests before they knew for sure. I just don't want to get my hopes up, but it appears 2 months in a row, something is up with my system.
