Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Endometriosis and Ovarian Cysts" Cindy, I just had a TVH/BSO for a suspected complex cyst of my ovary. Turned out I had Endo. and didn't know it. The cyst turned out to be a endometrioma (chocalate cyst ) which is made of endo stuff on ovary. My understanding is that you can have bad endo. and not have bad symptoms ( I was all stuck together inside) and that my cyst looked like a fluid filled cyst on ultrasound and CAT scan.
