Hi Michelle,

I am sorry to hear you are having severe pain. I too have endo, and lots of adhesions secondary to TAH/LSO and subsequent RSO. Now I have ovarian remnant syndrome. I was told by my gyn that laparscopic surgery would not be a good idea for me because the risk of injury (perforation of the bowel, etc) because of the adhesions I have. I had the TAH/LSO and RSO done by laparotomy.

Some doctors maybe experienced enough and say that they can do that, but I would be wary and get a second opinion. My gyn asked the doctor in her group who was very experienced with laparscopy what he thought about me having that done. He agreed that it would pose too much risk.

Your situation may be different than mine, but I think getting a second opinion might put your mind at ease.

Best wishes,
