Advice on Laparoscopy Surgery please

I will be going in for laparoscopy surgery in just 2 weeks (for severe pain) My last surgery was just over a year ago and it revealed severe adhesions and endometriosis my doctor that did that surgery said that he would never do another surgery on me, but because of the severe pain I am still in, another doctor is going to do the laparoscopy surgery. If adhesions are real bad how can a laparoscopy be done and do any good? Is it safe for me to have this surgery? My now doctor is not even sure he can get in and even see what is causing the pain.He is a good doctor but I feel real unsure about this surgery. I really dont know what to do but I do know that I want to find out what is causing this pain. I spent last sunday and monday in the ER room for uncontrolable pain so I know I need to get this resolved. Please I need some advice on this. Thanks Michelle
