Possible post-surgical problem?

From: Ann (anonymous@obgyn.net)

I had a laproscopic ovarian cyst removal in Aug 1998. I have noticed that ever since then when I am constipated I have bad abdominal pains and almost severe nausea.

Sometimes I feel like I have another cyst during those times, a feeling of abdominal pressure and fullness. But the feeling always passes. Is this something to discuss with my OB/GYN at my next visit, or is this a Gastroentrologist problem?

Also, possibly unrelated, in the past two months I have had almost constant breakthrough bleeding. I take BCP (Ortho/Novum 1/35) constantly (skipping placebos) and I have never had any bleeding in a year. Is this something of concern or just a side effect of the pill that has caught up with me?

Thank you for any advice.
