A ? about prescribing Depo Provera for patients

I have a question for the doctors about prescribing Depo Provera for patients. My question is this: Would you prescribe DP for patients that are prone to have seizures?

I take just the hormone pills of my bcp in order to try and keep my endometriosis under control, but I have been breakthrough bleeding for the last 2 years as a result of it.

The reason for asking this question is b/c this is the only other option I have left for trying to stop this bleeding is the Depo-Provera, and I'm seizure prone. I have been on a high dose pill (Desogen) for 3 months and I'm still bleeding. I take estrogen pills in order to try to keep this bleeding under control. I can't keep this up for much longer.

Is there anything else that I can consider as an option just so that I can avoid the Depo?

Thanks in advance.

Kristy :)
