Re: Boils? Infected Hairs ?

My daughter has had this problem for years. It seems to occur mostly
around the time of her periods. A dermatologist prescribed Cleocin-T,
which she applies morning and night. This, for the most part, keeps the
boils (that's what I call them too) in check and she now gets far fewer
than she used to. This medication also has "cured" a beginning boil. If
she does not shower or bathe one day, that sometimes is enough to allow
one of these boils to start. She uses just a regular antibacterial soap
(Irish Spring), and then applies the Cleocin.
