Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Vaginismus" My partner and I are experiencing undue stress in our relationship due to our inability to consummate our marriage of 3.5 years due to her vaginismus. We both reside in the UK and have tried, unsuccessfully various forms of counseling. We have been directed on several occasions to the book: When A Woman's Body Says No TO Sex by Linda Valins, but have been unable to obtain a copy either here or over the Internet. Is there any form of assistance we are overlooking (types of therapists etc?) I have read that this condition often coincides with Multiple Personality Disorder, which is causing even more strain on the relationship. Can anyone help?
