Hi Adriane,

I have had problems with cysts on my ovaries and I have endo. Yes cysts can cause pain. Pain perception is very individual. I have just a remnant of an ovary, but I can tell when I get a cyst because of the pain. If the pain seems too much call your doctor again and see what she has to say. Has the pain changed since you saw your doctor? If it has perhaps the cyst has grown, definitely call your doctor. Did she say if it was a functional cyst? If you are going back on the pill, that should (but not always) help prevent getting cysts.

Good luck,
