Dr. B - would this treatment be appropriate for a prdunculated submucosal fibroid that is filling the uterus and has stalk very close to the entrance to the uterus? My girlfriend just had hysteroscopy to remove it but they perforated the uterus and had to repair and quit. Now we are doing 3 mos of luprin and a repeat attempt is scheduled, but our doctor is concerned about getting the stalk as it is so close to the opening (to the uterus) that the vents near the end of the scope will be blocked off by the cervical canal when the cauterizing end is at the stalk. This means she may have to work blindly or use 2nd team to follow with laproscopy or ultrasound.

Any ideas?
