I am due to go back on the pill, but during a routine pap smear, my doctor noticed an enlarged ovary and sent me for a ultrasound, she called back 2 weeks later , and said that there is a small cyst on my right ovary, but she is not worried about it. I am assuming that it will go away on its own , but my question is, is it normal to have intense pain from it for the next couple weeks? Vicodin is the only thing that helps, and is it right to ask her for more when she won't do anything about the cyst? Thanks very much for your help!
