Hello Jeannie, You should go see a doctor ASAP. (in case you havnt).

My wife had the exact same problem, i mean EXACT same sort of cyst on the tailbone (towards the left cheek). Solution: Ok i dont mean to scare you but once you go see a doctor, he/she should recommend you to go see a surgeon & have it removed immediately. I know how painful it is. My wife was on painkillers for weeks. We had to keep the wound open for almost 3 weeks, clean it by inserting a qtip, fill the wound with a corner of sterile guaze & dress it up again every day TWICE a day, she also took hot baths in epsom salt.
