I think that you need to consult with an endocrinologist regarding your problem, rather than a gynecologist. A gynecologist is not specially trained to deal with men's health problems, even when they intersect with women's medications. (Perhaps this fact partially explains why no professional has stepped forward to answer your question.) In contrast, an endocrinologist is a specialist in hormone problems of both sexes.
