Dear Anita, Many of us experience very dark, old-blood-appearing discharge during our periods, and it does not necessarily mean miscarriage or any other medical problem. A suggestion: if you've not had a gynecological exam in the last year, please see your health care provider to discuss your wish to conceive and to make sure you're up to date on all testing, immunizations, and preconception advice. I hope you get pregnant soon!
