<< Dear Gael,

There are two possible diagnosis for your thickened endometrium, i.e. endometrial cancer and endometrial hyperplasia. Endometrial hyperplasia is the overgrowth of the endometrium which may lead to endometrial cancer. The endometrial biopsy result can differentiate between these two diagnosis. Classically, endometrial cancer / hyperplasia affect the affluent obese, nulliparous, infertile, hypertensive, and diabetic white woman. >>

Are these the only possible diagnoses for a thickened endometrium? I have not obese, have three children, have never been infertile, am not hypertensive nor diabetic. I *am* white.

Thank you.
