Hi Andrea,
--
Don't worry, it is nothing awful. It scared me too when I first heard
about it. But is nothing to be afraid of. Apparently some people heal
a little differently than others. Granular tissue is a normal part of
healing, however, some people produce more of this type of tissue. This
is normally tissue that is part of the beginning of healing a wound.
Ask your doctor to check for this, once it is treated (it may take more
than once) it is not a problem anymore.
If you have anymore questions or concerns, please feel free to e-mail
me.
Good luck.
