I have always had heavy periods for about 3 days and then getting lighter for the next 2. After going to my OB/GYN for an annual, he asked if I took anything for cramping. I very rarely do. He suggested taking something because it minimizes cramping and may lighten the bleeding. So my last two periods I have done this and it has actually lightened them. Is it just a coincidence?
