Thanks!!!!! Hi! I have been reading of others that are suffering like me.I am and glad to know that I am not "loosint it" I have been also having tremendous hair loss, sleepy all the time even driving a car. I have gained weight about 12 lbs. that will not budge even if I fast! Memory loss big time. No energy to do anyghing.I decided to go get checked out. I saw a nurse and she said I had all the symptoms of thyroid something. Well the tests came back and my thyroid level is low not high. She thought sub. thyroid something. She had to refer me on. Then I saw this other NP and he said no it isn't sub thyroid. I was so bummed. they have taken more blood and no answers as of yet. I had a partial hyst. 9 years ago. I have both ovaries. They put me on vitamins but no real change. I hope that if anyone reads this they will contact me and let me know if they have found any source of help in this area. I am getting frustrated with the dead ends from the Dr. Could the hormone level be dropping at such a gradual rate that it isn't detected? Could it be that the slightest drop off in hormones effects us this way? Is it hormone or is it throid? Are they related in the fact that when one is not producing hormones the other is effected? I don't know just wanting to get some answers. Not feeling emotional at this poing. Some edgyness...I attribute to being tired. Is There HELP Out There? I am 42 years young...at least I want to feel young!
