Hi Toni! I have been having DUB (dysfunctional uterine bleeding) or AUB (Abnormal uterine bleeding) for the last 7 months. Fibroids can cause AUB or DUB, so you may have more options than I do. I've had a D&C, hysteroscopy, hormone treatment, estrogen therapy, and depo provera shot. Because I've had previous instances of DUB and a cesarian section, I'm not a good canidate for Endometrial Ablation, although my Dr. did offer it to me. I've instead opted for a total abdominal hysterectomy scheduled for August 23rd. It seems to be the best option for me. If you have any questions or just want to talk, feel free to write to me. Best of luck!
