I am trying to find information on breastfeeding and ovulation/menstration. My son is 10 months old, I am breastfeeding him and I have not yet menstrated. I would like to be able to become pregnant again soon, but I do not totally want to wean my son yet. He has been eating solid food etc. since 6 mo. old, still breastfeeds 5 or 6 times a day, I would like to continue breastfeeding him at night and in the morning for a few more months. My doctor told me that I could be ovulating, but not know it. I thought that if you ovulate a period would soon follow. Please set me straight on this. Also, what can I do to begin ovulating again - is weaning totally the only way? I really would like another baby soon.
