Your story seems a lot like mine. 6 months ago I gave birth to a healthy son. However they tested me for strep b while I was pregnant and I tested positve. For three years prior to becoming pregnant I had suddenly started getting a annoying discharge that was clear and stringy like. It did not itch but was very annoying as it was very wet. I could not wear nylons anymore or strech pants for that matter. I had to wear loose cotton undergarmets and after a long day at work would become very uncomfortable. I had went to my gyneocologist who told me I had a little infection and gave me some antibiotics. It never helped. Then when I was pregant I complained again to my new gyno and they said that was common while pregnant. They did a test on me though as it was symptoms of having group b strep and sure enough I had it. My doctor told me lots of woman have this with out knowing. He told me it is just a common bactaria and everyone has some type of bactaria in them. There is nothing you can do to get rid of it and usually it goes away. I was treated with iv antibiotics when my water broke and my son was very healthy. However I have contined to have that discharge. I have an appointment to go in again and complain. But I thought I would do research and saw your story. Let me know if you find out anything new.
