EndometriosisFrom: Me (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 31 Jul 1999 13:22:44 -0500 (CDT)
I have had a weird pain on my left side which usually comes around the time I ovulate. I had a check up where when the Dr. touched my ovary it killed me. I then had a sonogram and it showed two things a cyst that I had collapsing on itself and free flowing fluid. I have been nauseaus ever since (extremely for 2 weeks then slightly for the last two). When I went for the next check up the next week, the ovary didn't hurt at all. I then got my period a couple of days later. I now have the pain again and am due for my period in 10 days. I am slightly nauseaus. I had a ca-125 done because I was nervous about the cyst. The test was "6". If I had endometriosis wouldn't my internal exam and the ca-125 give some kind of hint that that is what I had?
