Previous message: Susan: "HRT,WHAT ELSE?" I have an 8cm fibroid, and also have a lot of pain. The pain is mostly right sided pelvic pain, and is very severe. I also have a lot of pressure, particularly on my bladder. What is confusing to me is that some doctors are of the opinion that fibroids do not cause pain. I find this difficult to believe. I would be very interested to hear from anyone who had a fibroid associated with pain, and then had the fibroid surgically removed with the pain diminished. Thanks so much.
