I have been suffering from pain in my right side pelvic region. I have also had some dark blood which continued for a long time requiring a DandC. I had a laparoscopy which showed only "Pelvic Congestion Syndrome". My questions are: 1) What is Pelvic congestion syndrome and 2) Should I seek another opinion? I know this problem is not in my head as there is bleeding. I am was taking depo provera, my gyn discontinued that due to the tar like bleeding that lasted months at a time. I have been taking the pill now for several months and am having 2 periods a month with occasional tar like blood. I am really concerned because I know something is wrong but my gyn cannot find anything more than the pelvic congestion, he related the pain to spasms.
