Since you were concerned enough to post here, let me suggest phoning another dr, or a pharmacy, and asking them. Pharmacists can tell you the drug precautions, try calling one of them, maybe at the pharmacy where you get your meds. Ask what the warnings are about this drug as to who should NOT take it. I have learned the hard way that you can not always trust the information given you by your physician. Not saying you can never trust them, by my experience is that there are those that are not always totally honest with you, so it is best to get a second,third, or fourth opinion if you have to.
