I had a hysteroscopy and D&C done in additon to my laparoscopy 4 weeks ago and I'm still bleeding a little. I've been told that you are only supposed to bleed for like about 2 weeks after a D&C, but a friend told me that it took her longer than that to stop bleeding and cramping from the procedure.

I have already told my dr about the bleeding still continuing but that I was trying to be patient about the bleeding stopping. I was told after my surgery that I would bleed for a time, then it would turn pink, and then clear but they never told me how long all of this was supposed to take.

I hope that I stop bleeding soon because I'm tired of it, and I do know that supposedly with hysteroscopy bleeding can last up to 4 weeks but I'm going on 5 so we shall see how long it takes for me.

Telling the dr your concern is the right thing to do.
