Lisa, Last year, I had a gut feeling that I was pregnant and took a pregnancy test. It was only about a week after conception and I wasn't due to get my period for another couple of weeks. I had a very very faint line. I took another, and had the same result. I called the 800 number on the package and the person I spoke with said that even if the line is very faint, it should still be treated as a positive result. I then contacted my physician and arranged for a blood test. I was told that even if the blood test came back negative at that time, I should repeat it in a few weeks after the levels of HCG would have a chance to increase. As it turned out, the first test came back positive. I also bled a little bit here and there, in fact I thought that I had lost my baby about five weeks into the pregnancy. Some bleeding is normal in many cases, but PLEASE see a doctor ASAP for you and your babys' health.
