Psoas syndromeFrom: Debbie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 5 Jul 1999 16:46:29 -0500 (CDT)
I would like some information on psoas syndrome- its causes and its treatments. I think it needs to be added to your pelvic pain site. I have had six surgeries, 5 trips to the E.R.,7 nerve blocks, 60 doctor visits, and 47 prescriptions and have been dianosed with the following: endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, adhesions, ovarian cysts,& hernia before a pelvic pain specialist told me that I had psoas syndrome. It is listed as the most complexing gynecological problem today which causes the most pelvic pain but is never diagnosed. Please list this information on your pelvic pain website so no one else will have to go through the nightmare we have been through with the constant return of unbearable pain, numerous surgeries after which the pain always returned within a month and the disbelief we have constantly faced with caring, but totally baffled doctors. Thanks, Debbie
