The pill pack inserts always tell you what to do if you miss a day, but they never tell you what to do if you accidentally take one or in my case two during the week you're supposed to have your period. In other words, I took my first to Alesse pills on the Tuesday of the week I take the placebo. When I realized what I did, I stopped. Should I but a new pack and start over on the following Sunday (today) or should I just wait another month for my period and start over then? What should I do?? I assume I should be using other methods of birth control. What kind of hormonal effects will there be, by taking the wrong amount at the wrong time?
