Vitamins could they cause period problems????From: Emilee (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 29 Jun 1999 14:58:11 -0500 (CDT)
I know vitamins are suppose to be good for you, but I know of 2 incidences that caused problems. First one is myself, for three months I started to take a multi b vitamin and 400 vitamin e daily. My periods were more frequent, heavy and long. Last month I quit them and this month my period came on the 35 day and is back to normal. My sister-in-law was complaining of extreme heavy bleeding for three months. She has taken vitamin e 400 everyday for 4 months. She went the other day for a routine blood test and found out that she is anemic. Her dr. said she as about 3 pints low on blood and this could be contributed to the Vitamin E taken for 4 years. I thought vitamins were good for you but could they cause problems please respond!
