For what it's worth, I've got a retroverted uterus - it tips backward, toward my spine, instead of forward. Apparently it's considered a normal variation, and my doctor said it shouldn't cause problems with conception. I got pregnant after 6 months of trying - wouldn't swear by this, but there's info on the 'net that suggests trying intercourse in the "rear-entry" position... (could have been what worked for me!)
