It has never come back. I waited a full year before trying to get pregnant because I wanted to make sure I had fully healed. I got pregnant the second month of trying and now have a healthy 3 yr. old son. I would suggest you speak with your ob/gyn to make sure that your cervix is healed before you try to conceive.
