Re: becoming pregnant while nursing

My best friend gave birth to a healthy baby girl the 3rd week of January, and was on a low-dose bcp while nursing. When her daughter was about 9 - 10 weeks old, her milk dried up rapidly and completely. It took 3 days to completely disappear. She thought nothing of it at the time because the home test came back negative, but another one taken about 3 weeks ago showed positive, and a trip to the doctor last week proved her 2 and a half to three months pregnant. Although I'm not really sure you could still nurse if you were pregnant because I don't know the facts on that, but I don't think it's likely. It still wouldn't hurt to head to the drug store if you're curious.
