Tracy- I completely agree that with your symptoms, and family history, you made the right choice for yourself. I strongly urge you to get hormonal testing and compare the results with your pre-surgery levels. You are lucky to have the pre-surgery ones. Not everyone is lucky enough to have them. Question your dr about PTS. If he/she doesn't acknowledge it, then I highly doubt you will get the proper care there. I may be wrong, but, with the pattern I have seen with my own eyes,in my experiences, that has been the case. Push for the hormonal work-up. Don't give up until you get it done. It just may hold the answers you need. Don't just blindly take whatever hormones they throw at you. Without doing the testing, there is no way to know what hormones you need supplemented and in what amounts. If you would like to know anymore about PTS, feel free to email me. I will help any way I can. Cheryl :o)
