I am concerned about your MD minimizing your symptoms. At the very least an ultrasound would give some indication as to whether or not there is a problem with endometriosis. Sounds like you have several of the symptoms. Unfortunately, there are doctors out there who do not know their business, and too many women have been confronted with this attitude. 'you're just a bit depressed' or some such response, when in reality, there is indeed a problem going on. Take care of yourself. Just because someone went to med school, doesn't mean they're omnipotent or even an 'expert' in their field; A good doctor can take some searching to find...
