I: post myomectomyFrom: silvio (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 7 Jun 1999 22:11:19 +0200
-----Messaggio originale----- Da: silvio vis <anonymous@obgyn.net> A: anonymous@obgyn.net <anonymous@obgyn.net> Data: lunedì 7 giugno 1999 21.20 Oggetto: post myomectomy Just wanted to share my experience with myomectomy surgery to remove 5 fibroids plus 5 more newly discovered ones, all ranging in size from as small as a lentil to 5 cm. Apparently all went fine. I was in and out of the hospital in 4 1/2 days. I had the surgery 5 days ago, in fact. I'm now home having plenty of bed rest and getting up only when I need to. I'm feeling better with every passing moment. Getting in and out of bed is becoming easier and less painful. Today, I actually baked a cake. That maybe pushing it but it didn't require too much work. I have some minor bleeding which only began yesterday and I'm told is normal. At least I hope so. Other than that I seem to be fine and am well on the road to recovery. This of course has yet to be confirmed by my doctor in a few days. He has said that I should wait about three months before beginning to have a child. So I hope I can count on all your support and hope that all goes well cause I really would like to have a child. I hope my experience is enlightening to someone. I thought it was worth sharing and welcome any comments or questions. I'll be sure to update as well. Cleo
