Is there another name for disfunctional bloodflow. I have never had a regular menstraul cycle. When I was young (age 16) I only had a cycle twice a year. Many times I bleed for months at a time with very severe bloodclots going on for days or weeks at a time. This past December I was hospitalized and given drugs for what my doctor classified as disfunctional bloodflow. I was given six blood transfussions in three days. My unterus is slightly englarged 11 on the scale. but an internal ultrasound stated it was clear and free of any cycts or fibrous tumors. I was placed on birthcontrol (Mircette) and most recently have started bleeding again like before. I am very weak. have dificculty breathing and my heart is racing. I have even started to sit on a chair in the shower due to weakness. In December I was also having migraine headaches. I get winded very easy and get tired very quickly. I am a police officer by profession so constantly bleeding is not good at all. I have an apointment in two weeks but am afraid I will not make it until than. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
