Hello, I was on the Depo Provera shot and it gave me very irregular periods, but later I discovered that the birth control is actually what helped me to discover I had an underlying problem, Endometreosis. I am not sure if your periods will return to normal but most who take them do, unless there is an underlying problem that the higher level of estrogen in your body would reveal.
