May I ask, are resuspensions done quite often in Europe, and if so, would you say that they are about as successful as the procedures used in a hysterectomy? It would seem to me that the bladder and rectum repairs would be the same regardless of what procedure is done on the uterus. I've heard of the Burch and Sling procedures for the bladder...not much on repair procedures for rectoceles. I would appreciate any information you could provide me in the way of the success/failure rates of the resuspensions in terms of years and IF the resuspensions gradually fail, are they usually to a lesser degree? Thanks so much!!
