I would really appreciate an answer to this as well. Four years ago my doctor diagnosed me with Lactobacillus overgrowth. Bascially I have yeast infection type symptoms about 70 percent of the time with varying degrees of severity. Lots of itching and lots of discharge. Much of the time I am miserable and my doctor has been able to offer no more advice than for me to douche several times a week with a water and baking soda mixture. This is somewhat helpful, but never fully takes care of my symptoms. Therefore no longer acceptable as the only means of a remedy. I think there has got to be some tie between diet, habits, etc. and this problem. It gets worse at times and I can't seem to figure out why. I have searched the web, women's bookstores and am currently trying to find a more holistic gynocological approach to making this easier to endure. PLEASE PLEASE, some knowledgable person and/or doctor read this and reply. I feel like I am running out of ideas and this condition is truly terrible to deal with on an almost daily basis. Thanks so much.
