my sister at age 40 had hers untied. first she had tests done to be sure her tubes would be healthy and long enough. they tested her eggs too. the doctor claimed she had eggs an 18 year old would die for. this event totaled over 10,000 and she got preg right away and miscarried the second baby came a few months later and she had a healthy baby. up to six weeks to recover from the surgery.

I looked into having mine reversed as well and was told I could be in the hospital for several days, recovery is slow, and there is not 100% chance that after you've had them reversed that you will get pregnant again. Also keep in mind that most Health insurances don't cover this procedure! I was told that all said and done. To have my tubes reversed would be anywhere from 5,000.00 to 8,000.00 and thats if the procedure went well and I could leave the hospital at a reasonable time.. Needless to say, My pregnancy days are over.. hope this helped..
