I have experienced constipation when the adhesions were around my intestines. I have had 5 surgeries for adhesions, my last one in Nov. for a hysterectomy, appendectomy and lysis of dense adhesions. Six months before that I had surgery to remove extensive adhesions in pelvis, on intestines, and I had bowel obstructions. I have found a great site that deals with adhesions and related problems at http://www.adhesions.org. Hope you find this helpful.
