One thought that came to mind as I read the posts here is this - why not copy each of the posts and show them to your wife (particularly the apology note, which by the way, you have nothing to apologize for!)? Perhaps it would help her to understand how much you want her to be healthy and "stay around for awhile". Seeing things in print may help.... Hope everything goes well!
